Another long driving day for Scott. We started out with getting him some new shades!! Good idea since the weather has been great the last couple days. Today is a bit chilly but sunny. Yay!
We started the day by heading to Bighorn National Forest in the Bighorn Mountains which are a sister range of the Rocky Mountains.
From the web: No region in Wyoming is provided with a more diverse landscape – from grasslands to alpine meadows, clear lakes to glacially-carved valleys and rolling hills to sheer mountain cliffs.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Although, honestly my pictures don’t do the landscape justice.
We arrived in the city of Cody just before dinner.

After settling our stuff in the cabin at Buffalo Bills Cabin Village, we headed off for some food and entertainment.
The Cody Cattle Company combines a Chuckwagon dinner buffet and and an hour of “real” Western music. Fun time!! Food wasn’t too bad either!!

Don’t worry I didn’t eat all that! I can’t help it if the guy kept dropping meat on my platter.😂
Tomorrow’s plan is to start the day at the Old Town Trail – a recreated Western town and then head to Yellowstone National Park.
