We are on the way to Salt Lake City! First stop was Chuck’s Steak House restaurant in Wethersfield. It made for a great halfway point between Cheryl’s house and ours.
After a tasty meal, Scott went back home and I joined Cheryl in her car as we were chauffeured by her husband, to the Sheraton hotel at the airport.
Our first task after arriving at the hotel was to login to the Genealogy Escape Room webinar hosted by Thomas MacEntee. Apparently, we were unable to escape because we missed a clue about the life of Martha Sleeper. Lesson learned: ALWAYS read the ENTIRE census page, including the marks found on the the margins. As Thomas likes to say “That was worth the price of admission.”
An early bedtime is in order since we will be getting up at 4:15 a.m. for our 6:35 boarding time.
