Doris Lichtenthal Falcone

I originally posted these scrapbook pages in 2016, but thought I would “reprise” them in honor of the 14th anniversary of Mom’s passing. I actually had to do the math TWICE as I couldn’t believe that much time had passed.

Looking back at these pages, I’m struck by how memory works—how it carries someone forward long after the calendar insists they’re gone. Fourteen years feels impossible, yet here we are, still finding new corners of her story to appreciate.

Sharing this scrapbook again isn’t just nostalgia; it’s a way of keeping her woven into the present. If you’ve come along for this little remembrance, thank you. It means something to pause, look back, and let someone loved and missed take up a bit of space in the day.
